Bourbon Maple Red Beans with Bacon (and also rice)
just leave it on the stove while you do all the things that busy people do
things you’ll need: red beans (like hidatsa beans from Racho Gordo), broth or bouillon, bacon, bell pepper (red or whichever), onion, celery, garlic, Anaheim chili powder (or Cajun seasoning or something else you prefer), bourbon, maple syrup, salt, pepper, and rice.
incidentally gluten-free (you CAN leave out the bacon and make it vegetarian)
